Programs - Performance, Exhibits & Special Events - Follow the Dream

Follow the Dream showcases the works of students and artists with disabilities in public places. During the month of November, (proclaimed “Disability Arts Month” by the Texas Legislature), communities across Texas celebrate the creative abilities of all people through public art exhibits and performances by and with individuals with disability. School children enter their work into the annual Follow the Dream exhibit in each community. Exhibitions can be seen traveling to public and private locations such as the Texas Commission on the Arts and Texas State Capitol Rotunda.

Each manual includes information on how to create an exhibit featuring artwork by people with disabilities from start to finish in a convenient workbook format. Cost is $10. For Follow the Dream Manual purchase information please contact "General Info" using our online form.
