“I have always made art. In 1997, I became an artist living with Multiple Sclerosis. My disease has slowed me physically, but nothing stops the creative force. I have become unable to work outside the home. My art has become my friend, my refuge, and my therapy.
I participate in a ongoing fine arts program for adults with disabilities. I am a member of a nationwide Advocate Network for persons with Multiple Sclerosis, and was recently featured in a local documentary about the MS150 Bike Ride.
I began creating hand-built stoneware pottery in 1989. I continue with the pottery in my home studio. I also make paintings, assemblage, and mosaic. I love to try new media and techniques.”
