VSA Texas is offering a free taster workshop on “The Art of Audio Description”, an introductory class for those who would like to learn about audio description for the blind and low-visioned. Audio Description is the art of describing the visual aspects of a live performance, movie or museum exhibit not normally accessible to a person who is blind or visually impaired. Come find out what it is all about and also get trained on our brand new audio description equipment. Contact Lynn Johnson or call 512-454-9912 if interested in registering.

Join VSA Texas in celebrating the Nationally recognized Mental Illness Awareness Week and recognize the artistic accomplishments of San Antonio area artists with mental illness at this thought provoking exhibition that includes ceramics, collage, painting, drawing, photography, and mixed media. The exhibit includes artwork by over 20 artists with mental illness from the San Antonio area.
