In order to serve as a statewide arts and disability organization, it is necessary to have financial and program partners to assist with the delivery of quality projects and services. VSA Texas' policy is to reach out to like-minded organizations across the state in an effort to expand our programmatic reach, and to provide technical assistance and support to organizations and individuals who are attempting to establish access projects within their communities. These partnerships can take several forms: financial, programmatic, long-term or one event. It is our intention that successful community-based programs be incorporated into the fabric of VSA programs when possible, but that organizations that wish to operate under their own non-profit status be encouraged and supported in their development.
