Programs - Professional Development - Texas Cultural Access Initiative

Accessibility is a mind set, an attitude and sometimes a paradigm shift. The Texas Cultural Access Initiative (TCAI) provides workshops, presentations, and consultation to cultural arts, education and recreation organizations on disability awareness, ADA compliance, universally designed programs, inclusive marketing, community outreach, and respectful customer service. TCAI also provides technical assistance on ASL theatrical interpreting, realtime captioning, and other accommodations for patrons with disabilities. The purpose of TCAI is to support individuals and organization in creating an inclusive world, preparing them with knowledge and skills to help facilitate in creating an accessible environment.
