The webposium for teaching artists was conducted at City Hall in Austin, Texas on Friday, January 29, 2010. Webposium partners included CreateAustin; City of Austin Cultural Arts Division; University of Texas Dept of Theater and Dance, UT- Austin College of Fine Arts, Butler School of Music; Austin Community College; Center for Community Arts/Texas State University; mindPOP; Greater Austin Creative Alliance; LBJ School of Public Affairs; Theatre Action Project; Center for Educator Development in the Fine Arts (CEDFA) and VSA arts International.

The Dana Foundation is a private institution based in New York dedicated to the support of activities and publications in science, education and health. It was founded in 1950 by Charles A. Dana, a legislator and businessman from New York State, and CEO of the Dana Corporation.
