We need volunteers to assist Internship participants who will work with professional artists in the film industry through classroom settings and hands-on experience. Interns will be immersed in every aspect of filmmaking. From concept development to screenwriting to filming and editing, they get personal instruction on how to bring their vision to life. Week one is the film school experience. We think, we write, we storyboard. Pre-production is key to realizing their film once they begin shooting. In weeks two and three interns are paired with professionals and volunteers to produce, shoot, score and edit the film.
Ideal for volunteers who have a film background or are interested in filmmaking. We are looking for hands on individuals who are able to assist our filmmakers in their creative story making and assisting the interns in all aspects of their filmmaking experience. A short orientation is required. You also must be 18 years or older and be able to commit for the entirety of the class or else discuss shifts. If interested please contact Lynn Johnson or call 512-454-9912.
